This MA film by Sally Pearce required a lot of visual effects shots. The sequence worked on by Melmation consisted of backplates onto which pre-shot liquid paint was animated and brought to life. Elephants premiered at London international Film Festival 2008 and has since screened at major festivals around the world. These festivals included Annecy, Uppsala, Oberhausen, Chicago Children's, Seattle, SantaBarbara, St Louis and Shanghai. Awards won include the Welsh BAFTA for short Film and the Award for the Most Creative Idea of Shanghai. More here.
